How it Started
ABO Performance was created to support small & early-stage businesses in the cannabis, psychedelics and technology industries. Top leadership talent typically commands high salaries and aggressive equity packages that are often challenging for young companies to support, creating a dynamic where compromises are made on talent quality or over-dilution, sometimes both. As companies scale, these early (though necessary) decisions often cause downstream pain. ABO Performance solves this problem by providing top-tier leadership experience and strategic support to early stage companies without gouging companies in their most vulnerable and critical stages.
Emma Beckerle | Founder
Emma has spent her career leading, building & scaling rapid-growth businesses in the travel, restaurant and cannabis industries. Emma’s track record of success includes a $390M acquisition of a Series C start-up by Grubhub in 2018; being a Founding Member of LeafLink Financial, one of the first and largest debt financing facilities in the cannabis industry to date; driving the Go-to-Market strategy for a direct-to-consumer ACH product for one of the most valuable technology company in cannabis; and helping raise over $400M across the organizations she has worked for and with.
